Board of Bajaj Steel Industries approves change in company secretary

At meeting held on 16 October 2014

Bajaj Steel Industries announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 16 October 2014, has accepted the resignation of Jagdish Shirke from the post of Company Secretary & has also relieved him from the position of Company Secretary with effect from 16 October 2014. It is also instructed by the Board that he will have to handover the office upto 25 October 2014 to the new appointee.

The Board of Directors has appointed Rahul Hirachand Patwi as a Company Secretary & Compliance officer who shall also hold the office of Key Managerial Personnel under Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with rules made thereunder.

The Board of Directors has also inducted / appointed Dr. Mahendra Kumar Sharma as an Additional Director (Executive) of the Company with effect from 16 October 2014 with instructions that he will be appointed / nominated as a Whole Time Director & CEO of the Company with necessary approval/permission of the Board / Members of the Company in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
