Board of Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals approves setting up new urea plant

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 03 November 2015 has approved setting up of a new urea plant requiring investment of Rs 5940 crore at the existing site at Gadepan, District Kota, Rajasthan. The proposed capacity addition is 1.3 million MT of urea per annum.

The board also approved raising funds through borrowings upto USD 75 million (Rs 4950 crore) to part finance the aforesaid project.
