Net profit of Carborundum Universal declined 39.84% to Rs 39.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 66.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.59% to Rs 528.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 465.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit rose 7.68% to Rs 142.79 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 132.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 1.87% to Rs 2056.39 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2018.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
