Proposed transaction gets approval of Competition Commission of India
In connection with the sale of textile business of the Company, i.e., Birla Textile Mills located in Himachal Pradesh, to Sutlej Textile & Industries (Sutlej), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals announced that in accordance with the requirement of the Competition Act, 2002, Sutlej filed a notice/ application with the Competition Commission of India (CCI). Sutlej has informed to the Company that CCI has vide a letter dated 09 June 2015 (received by Sutlej on 11 June 2015) communicated its approval to the proposed transaction.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
