China Market closes down

The Mainland China equity market closed down after a four-day winning streak on Thursday, 07 September 2017, as profit taking in materials & resource shares banking sector offset strong gains in real estate companies. The blue-chip CSI300 index fell 0.5%, to 3,829.87 points, while the Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.6% to 3,365.50 points. The Shenzhen Composite Index fell 0.3% to 1,972.74. Combined turnover for Shanghai and Shenzhen markets rose to 629 billion yuan from Wednesday's 601 billion yuan.
