The Mainland China equity market ended down for third straight session on Wednesday, 29 March 2017, amid concerns about tightening liquidity conditions after the central bank refrained from injecting short-term funds into the banking system for the fourth session in a row. The blue-chip CSI300 index fell 0.1%, to 3,465.19 points, while the Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.4% to 3,241.31 points.
