Coal India provides performance update

For month of October 2017

Coal India announced Provisional Production and Offtake Performance of the CIL and its subsidiary companies for the month of October 2017 and for April 2017- October 2017.

The Company achieved 93% of the targeted coal production at 46.14 million tonnes in October 2017. For the period April- October 2017, actual coal production was 95% of the targeted at 278.01 million tonnes.

Actual offtake was 100% of the targeted at 48.28 million tonnes in October 2017. For the period April- October 2017, actual offtake was 97% of the targeted at 317.30 million tonnes.
