Net profit of Coal India declined 5.29% to Rs 13438.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 14188.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 98.60% to Rs 85.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 42.91 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.For the full year,net profit declined 12.61% to Rs 14500.53 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 16593.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 75.12% to Rs 289.88 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 165.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
