Excel Crop Care net profit rises 336.48% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 18.90% to Rs 210.90 crore

Net profit of Excel Crop Care rose 336.48% to Rs 10.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 2.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 18.90% to Rs 210.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 177.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 213.96% to Rs 67.25 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 21.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 25.56% to Rs 937.16 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 746.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
