Nifty October 2018 futures at premium
The Nifty October 2018 futures traded at 10258.55, a premium of 23.90 points over the Nifty's spot closing of 10234.65 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 19.94 lakh crore compared with the turnover of Rs 11.94 lakh crore in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 225.45 points or 2.16% to settle at 10,234.65.
Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and Yes Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Industries October 2018 futures traded at 1092, at a premium from spot closing price of 1090. Bajaj Finance October 2018 futures traded at 2173, matching spot closing price of 2173. Yes Bank October 2018 futures traded at 242.10, at a premium from spot closing price of 241.
The October 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 25 October 2018.
