Nifty October 2018 futures at premium
The Nifty October 2018 futures traded at 10587, a premium of 2.25 points over the Nifty's spot closing of 10584.75 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 8.07 lakh crore, higher than Rs 6.92 lakh crore in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 72.25 points or 0.69% to settle at 10,584.75.
Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Industries October 2018 futures traded at 1165, at a discount from spot closing price of 1166. Bajaj Finance October 2018 futures traded at 2310.25, at a premium from spot closing price of 2307.60. State Bank of India October 2018 futures traded at 270.80, at a premium from spot closing price of 270.35.
The October 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 25 October 2018.
