Hindalco Industries receives 7,50,312 equity shares of Grasim Industries

Under scheme of amalgamagtion of Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) with Grasim Industries

Hindalco Industries announced that consequent to approval of Scheme of Amalgamation of Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) (ABCIL) a subsidiary of the Company, with Grasim Industries (Grasim) by the respective Hon'ble High Courts, the amalgamation has since been approved by the Board of Directors of Grasim to make it effective from 01 April 2015.

Accordingly, the Company has received 7,50,312 equity shares of Grasim on 20 January 2016 in exchange of 1,20,04,987 equity shares held by the Company in Aditya Birla Chemicals (India ) (ABCIL).
