Net profit of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation declined 28.18% to Rs 1552.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2162.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 5.44% to Rs 42125.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 44550.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit rose 41.32% to Rs 3862.74 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2733.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 13.13% to Rs 179281.07 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 206380.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
