Hong Kong Hang Seng tops 30K level for the first time in a decade
Capital Market The Hong Kong stock market closed higher on Wednesday, 22 November 2017, with benchmark Hang Seng index surpassing physiological important 30,000 level for the first time in more than a decade, driven broadly by following the rally of the US equity markets overnight. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.62% to close at 30 003.49, its highest since 5 November 2007. Hong Kong market's daily turnover reached HK$158 billion, slightly higher than Tuesday's HK$157 billion.
