Hong Kong Market closes above 28,000 level

The Hong Kong stock market finished session higher on Wednesday, 30 August 2017, as investors appetite for risk assets resumed on calming fears over North Korea's missile launch and China's yuan rose to a 14-month high. The market gain was lead by airline and realty stocks. The Hang Seng Index gained 1.2%, or 329.60 points, to 28,094.61 at the close. Turnover increased to HK$105.9 billion from HK$94.9 billion on Tuesday.
