Marico consolidated net profit rises 25.81% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 6.53% to Rs 1302.78 crore

Net profit of Marico rose 25.81% to Rs 138.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 110.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.53% to Rs 1302.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1222.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 26.39% to Rs 724.79 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 573.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 7.03% to Rs 6122.39 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5720.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
