To encourage and promote technical bilateral cooperation on new and renewable energy
The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, gave its ex-post-facto approval for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Mongolia for five years. This MoU was signed at Ulaanbaatar during the visit of the Prime Minister to Mongolia on 17th May, 2015.The signing of the MoU will help establish the basis for a cooperative institutional relationship, to encourage and promote technical bilateral cooperation on the new and renewable energy, on the basis of mutual benefit, equality and reciprocity.
The MoU will also help in strengthening bilateral cooperation between India and Mongolia.
