Nifty April 2014 futures above 6700

Turnover drops

Nifty April 2014 futures were at 6735.40, at a premium of 39.50 points over spot closing of 6695.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 92,042.10 crore from Rs 377262.52 crore on Thursday, 27 March 2014.

State Bank of India April 2014 futures were at 1919.30, at a premium over spot closing of 1908.60.

Aurobindo Pharma April 2014 futures were at 516.10, at a premium over spot closing of 511.70.

IDFC April 2014 futures were at 127.20, at a premium over spot closing of 125.80.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 54.15 points or 0.82% to settle at 6,695.90, a record closing high.

The April 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 24 April 2014.
