Nifty April 2014 Futures at premium

Turnover rises

Nifty April 2014 futures were at 6746.80, at a premium of 42.60 points over spot closing of 6704.20. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 102072.07 crore from Rs 92042.10 crore on Friday, 29 March 2014.

Tata Steel April 2014 futures were at 396.55, at a discount over spot closing of 393.80.

State Bank of India April 2014 futures were at 1924, at a premium over spot closing of 1916.10.

JSW Steel April 2014 futures were at 1043.25, at a premium over spot closing of 1035.95.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 8.30 points or 0.12% to settle at 6,704.20, a record closing high.

The April 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 24 April 2014.
