Turnover drops
Nifty April 2014 futures were at 6745.95, at a premium of 51.60 points over spot closing of 6694.35. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 122331.34 crore from Rs 122922.57 crore on Thursday, 3 April 2014.
Ranbaxy Laboratories April 2014 futures were at 466.45, at a premium over spot closing of 461.55.
State Bank of India April 2014 futures were at 1923.90, at a premium over spot closing of 1909.70.
DLF April 2014 futures were at 177.10, at a premium over spot closing of 175.50.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 41.75 points or 0.62% to settle at 6,694.35, its lowest closing level since 27 March 2014.
The April 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 23 April 2014.
