Turnover drops
Nifty April 2014 futures were at 6797.95, at a premium of 21.65 points over spot closing of 6776.30. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 137758.41 crore from Rs 167894.96 crore on Thursday, 10 April 2014.
Adani Enterprises April 2014 futures were at 436.60, at a premium over spot closing of 434.80.
Infosys April 2014 futures were at 3244.40, at a premium over spot closing of 3,237.95.
Reliance Capital April 2014 futures were at 371.55, at a premium over spot closing of 370.50.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 20.10 points or 0.3% to settle at 6,776.30, its lowest closing level since 7 April 2014.
The April 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 23 April 2014.
