Turnover rises
Nifty April 2014 futures were at 6774.15, at a premium of 38.05 points over spot closing of 6736.10. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 122922.57 crore from Rs 108345.78 crore on Wednesday, 2 April 2014.
IDFC April 2014 futures were at 125.55, at a premium over spot closing of 124.70.
Aurobindo Pharma April 2014 futures were at 570.50, at a premium over spot closing of 568.50.
State Bank of India April 2014 futures were at 1905.95, at a premium over spot closing of 1894.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 16.45 points or 0.24% to settle at 6,736.10, its lowest closing level since 1 April 2014.
The April 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 24 April 2014.
