Nifty October 2014 futures at premium

Turnover surges

Nifty October 2014 futures were at 7892.55, a premium of 32.60 points over spot closing of 7859.95. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 236320.13 crore from Rs 193732.79 crore on Thursday, 9 October 2014.

Infosys October 2014 futures were at 3876, at a discount compared to spot closing of 3884.20.

Tata Motors October 2014 futures were at 495.35, near spot closing of 494.90.

State Bank of India October 2014 futures were at 2462, at a premium over spot closing of 2454.40.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty shed 100.60 points or 1.26% to settle at 7,859.95, its lowest closing level since 8 October 2014.

The October 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 October 2014.
