Power Grid Corporation of India net profit rises 5.99% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 16.61% to Rs 3934.06 crore

Net profit of Power Grid Corporation of India rose 5.99% to Rs 1175.84 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1109.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 16.61% to Rs 3934.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 3373.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.21% to Rs 4497.42 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4234.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.22% to Rs 15152.74 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 12709.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
