Power Grid Corporation of India standalone net profit rises 20.13% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 18.51% to Rs 4662.19 crore

Net profit of Power Grid Corporation of India rose 20.13% to Rs 1412.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 1175.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 18.51% to Rs 4662.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 3934.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 10.71% to Rs 4979.17 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 4497.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 12.89% to Rs 17106.35 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 15152.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
