Power Grid Corporation of India standalone net profit rises 22.17% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 16.92% to Rs 6712.04 crore

Net profit of Power Grid Corporation of India rose 22.17% to Rs 1916.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1568.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 16.92% to Rs 6712.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 5740.51 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 26.42% to Rs 7520.15 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5948.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 24.44% to Rs 25716.54 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 20665.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
