Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers standalone net profit rises 36.36% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 10.90% to Rs 2209.36 crore

Net profit of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers rose 36.36% to Rs 55.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 40.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.90% to Rs 2209.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1992.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 3.83% to Rs 179.26 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 172.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 12.40% to Rs 7200.02 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 8218.99 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
