Rupee grows stronger

At 61.31/32 per dollar

Indian rupee closed stronger on Tuesday (29 October 2013) at 61.31/32 per dollar, as against its previous close of 61.52/53 on Monday, boosted by gains in the domestic share market and dollar selling by exporters with traders' focus now shifting to the outcome of the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy statement.
