Somany Ceramics net profit rises 10.26% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 22.15% to Rs 407.63 crore

Net profit of Somany Ceramics rose 10.26% to Rs 11.18 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 10.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 22.15% to Rs 407.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 333.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 11.27% to Rs 28.03 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 31.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.76% to Rs 1252.96 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1046.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
