Some stocks drop ex-dividend

Six stocks fell by between 0.4% to 4.16% at 15:20 IST on BSE after these stocks turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 173.53 points or 0.57% at 27,019.44.

Renaissance Jewellery shed 0.4% as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for a final dividend of Re 1 per share for the year ended March 2014.

Rupa & Company fell 0.59% as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for dividend of Rs 2.50 per share for the year ended March 2014.

Rural Electrification Corporation fell 1.2% as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for a final dividend of Rs 1.75 per share for the year ended March 2014.

Nitin Spinners dropped 1.7% as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for dividend of Rs 0.75 per share for the year ended March 2014.

GIC Housing Finance shed 1.89% as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for dividend of Rs 6 per share and a special dividend of Re 1 per share for the year ended March 2014.

KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation fell 4.16% as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for dividend of Rs 0.85 per share for the year ended March 2014.

Yuken India rose 4.24%. The stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for dividend of Rs 1.50 per share for the year ended March 2014.

Indraprastha Gas rose 1.51%. The stock turned ex-dividend today, 2 September 2014, for dividend of Rs 5.50 per share for the year ended March 2014.
