State Bank of India announces change in directorate

State Bank of India announced that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Section (19) and Sub-Section (1) of Section 20 of the State Bank of India Act 1955 (23 of 1955), the Central Government, has appointed Parveen Kumar Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, State Bank of India, as Managing Director, State Bank of India, against the vacancy of P. Pradeep Kumar (who will superannuate on 31 October 2015), from the date of his taking over the charge of the post on or after 01 November 2015 and upto 31 March 2020 i.e. the date of his attaining the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
