1269 no. of employees opt for VRS
Steel Authority of India announced that a VRS Scheme was implemented during the period from 15 June 2017 to 30 September 2017 and extended up to 30 November 2017 at all its plants/units. Voluntary retirement of a total 1269 no. of employees has been approved under this scheme. The one time financial implication for the service works out to be around Rs 254 crore, with envisaged saving of around Rs 127 crore per annum for separation of 1269 no. of employees through VRS 2017.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
