Sterling Holiday Resorts becomes a subsidiary of Thomas Cook India Group

Thomas Cook India group holds 55.14% in Sterling Holiday Resorts

Thomas Cook (India) (TCIL) announced that pursuant to a purchase of 11,863,334 equity shares of Sterling Holiday Resorts (India) (SHRIL) at Rs 98 per share in an off-market transaction by Thomas Cook Insurance Services (India) (TCISIL), TCISIL now holds approx. 53.48% of SHRIL. Thus, SHRIL has become a subsidiary of TCISIL.

TCISIL is the wholly owned subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India). Another subsidiary of TCIL, Thomas Corporation (India) owns approximately 1.67% of the paid up equity of SHRIL. The Thomas Cook India group now holds 55.14% of the paid up equity of SHRIL.
