TPREL commissions two projects in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu
Tata Power Company announced that its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy has commissioned 36 MW wind capacity of a 100 MW wind farm (under construction) at Nimbagallu in Andhra Pradesh and a 49 MW solar plant at Kayathar, Tamil Nadu, under Welspun Renewable Energy. With these, the operating renewable energy capacity of TPREL growth to 1876 MW comprising of 841 MW wind, 915 MW solar and 120 MW waster heat recovery capacity as on 12 January 2017. In FY 2016, Tata Power Renewable Energy increased its operational capacity by 1169 MW.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
