First batch of transition includes UP (West), Bihar and West Bengal circles
Bharti Airtel and Tata Teleservices said that starting 22 November 2017, Tata Teleservices customers will start transitioning to the Airtel mobile network under an Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) arrangement. The first batch of transition is being effected in UP (West), Bihar and West Bengal. Over the coming weeks, all consumer mobile customers of Tata Teleservices across all circles will transition to the Airtel network.Airtel and Tata Teleservices had recently announced an agreement to merge the Consumer Mobile Business of Tata Teleservices and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) into Airtel. The acquisition is currently undergoing regulatory approvals.
