Volumes jump at IVRCL counter

Shoppers Stop, TGB Banquets and Hotels, Welspun Corp and Future Retail are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 30 November 2015.

IVRCL clocked volume of 61.81 lakh shares by 13:41 IST on BSE, a 18.48 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.34 lakh shares. The stock was locked at 20% upper circuit at Rs 10.78 after the company said it has allotted 2.42 crore equity shares at an issue price of Rs 24.39 per share to corporate debt restructuring lenders. The announcement was made after market hours on Friday, 27 November 2015.

Shoppers Stop notched up volume of 3.09 lakh shares, a 10.68-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock lost 0.6% at Rs 398.

TGB Banquets and Hotels saw volume of 4.51 lakh shares, a 7.94-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 57,000 shares. The stock surged 12.95% at Rs 123.

Welspun Corp clocked volume of 25.38 lakh shares, a 7.75-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.28 lakh shares. The stock jumped 8.02% at Rs 116.45.

Future Retail saw volume of 10.45 lakh shares, a 7.53-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.39 lakh shares. The stock jumped 15.88% at Rs 167.15.
