Page Industries clocked volume of 21,000 shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 67.82-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 305 shares. The stock rose 3.38% to Rs 4,950.
Bharat Electronics notched up volume of 61,000 shares, a 36.33-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock lost 0.52% to Rs 1067.10.
Divi's Laboratories saw a volume of 4.63 lakh shares, a 25.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock rose 2.45% to Rs 1,011.35 after two block deals aggregating 4.50 lakh shares were executed on BSE at 10:39 IST. One block deal of 1.12 lakh shares was executed at Rs 985 per share while another block deal of 3.38 lakh shares was executed at Rs 989.55 per share. The two block deals constitute 0.33% of Divi's Laboratories' equity.
ABB India clocked volume of 4.37 lakh shares, a 19.82-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock rose 3.59% to Rs 652 after net profit surged 78.14% to Rs 38.07 crore on 1.34% decline in revenue to Rs 1762 crore in Q3 September 2013 over Q3 September 2012. The result was announced during trading hours today, 6 November 2013.
Torrent Power saw volume of 17.37 lakh shares, a 6.16-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2.82 lakh shares. The stock jumped 15.82% to Rs 110.90.
