Volumes jump at S H Kelkar and Company counter

MMTC, Astec Lifesciences, Alphageo (India) and Gokul Refoils & Solvent are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 9 June 2016.

S H Kelkar and Company clocked volume of 7.63 lakh shares by 13:05 IST on BSE, a 26.09 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock rose 0.49% at Rs 214.30.

MMTC notched up volume of 17.11 lakh shares, a 16.94-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.01 lakh shares. The stock jumped 16.49% at Rs 45.20.

Astec Lifesciences saw volume of 1.93 lakh shares, a 13.38-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock advanced 2.66% at Rs 299.25.

Alphageo (India) clocked volume of 2.97 lakh shares, a 12.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock rose 4.28% at Rs 826.

Gokul Refoils & Solvent saw volume of 35.51 lakh shares, a 11.19-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.17 lakh shares. The stock gained 3.6% at Rs 16.10.
