Shares of VST Tillers Tractors declined 5.91% in five trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 1,063.90 from its recent closing high of Rs 1,130.80 on 2 December 2019.
The company, after market hours on Thursday, 5 December 2019, announced that its total auto sales slipped 7.90% to 1,806 units in November 2019 from 1,961 units in October 2019. Its total sales fell 33.99% year-on-year (yoy) in November 2019 from 2,736 units in November 2018.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 55 points or 0.14% to 40,500.10.
In the past one month, shares of VST Tillers Tractors tumbled 16.28% to its current market price of Rs 1,063.90, underperforming the Nifty Auto index's 3.44% fall in the same period.
On the technical front, the stock's RSI (relative strength index) stood at 28.764. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally the RSI is considered overbought when above 70 and oversold when below 30.
The stock was currently trading below its 50-day moving average (DMA) placed at Rs 1,207.71, and below its 200 DMA placed at Rs 1,218.01.
Net profit of VST Tillers fell 30.6% to Rs 6.38 crore on 11.3% rise in net sales to Rs 160.88 crore in Q2 September 2019 over Q2 September 2018.
