10 die in Pakistan drone strike

At least 10 people were killed in a second US drone strike in Pakistan's North Waziristan province, increasing the toll to 16 since Wednesday's attack, media reported Thursday.

According to officials, the drone targeted a house near Miranshah and fired eight missiles, The News International reported.

The first US drone attack Wednesday killed six suspected militants in Dargah Mandi village near Miranshah.

The drone fired two missiles at a house killing four Uzbek and two Punjabi-Taliban militants.

The last confirmed US drone attack in Pakistan took place in December 2013.
