At least 10 terrorists were killed late Wednesday when Pakistani military jets bombarded their hideouts in the country's northern region, media reported.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), military fighter jets carried out the operation in Shawal Valley of North Waziristan Agency, Geo News reported.

The strikes were carried out as part of the ongoing military offensive Zarb-e-Azb to rid the country of terrorists. Hundreds of militants have been killed in the tribal regions and along the Pakistan-Afghan border in similar air strikes during the last few weeks.
