A 100 kg Soviet-made bomb dating to World War II has been found near a kindergarten in Hungary.
Police Thursday evacuated about 10,000 people in the central city of Szekesfehervar, BBC reported.
Nazi-allied Hungary was under heavy bombardment by US, British and Soviet forces during the final months of World War II. Budapest was carpet-bombed on 37 occasions.
The bomb was found near a kindergarten sandpit in a densely populated housing estate.
There have been 14 evacuations in the capital since 2008, after many unexploded devices were uncovered during construction work.
On Wednesday, police evacuated around 1,500 people in Budapest after a bomb was found during construction work at an apartment block.
