At least 14 terrorists were killed and several others detained during search operations on Tuesday in different areas of Balochistan province of Pakistan.
According to a spokesperson of the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC), nine militants were killed while two FC personnel were injured in exchange of fire in Morgan and Harboi areas of Kalat, Geo News reported.
The spokesperson said those killed in the shootout were involved in the May 29 Mastung bus attack in which 22 people were killed and they were planning to attack an FC post in Harboi.
In another operation in Panjgur district, four terrorists, involved in target killings and a camp attack, were killed while weapons were recovered from their possession.
Separately, one terrorist was also killed during exchange of fire and another detained in the Kohilo. Automatic weapons were recovered from their possession.
About 25 suspects were detained during FC and police search operation in Kharotabad and its adjoining areas.
