Delhi University released its seventh cut-off list for the four-year undergraduate programme, with at least 16 colleges still open for admissions for the much sought after commerce course, an official said Thursday.

At least 15 colleges have seats in economics course while admissions are open for course in English in nine colleges, history in two, political science in three, philosophy in three, sociology in four and sanskrit in many institutions.

Colleges like Hans Raj, Ramjas, Kirori Mal, Gargi, Miranda House and Daulat Ram also have seats in a few courses, a university official said.

Moti Lal Nehru College (Evening) is still open for admission to all the courses even though the cut-offs for history and Hindi courses have been brought down to almost 65 percent.

"There are cancellations happening, so as long the seats will not be filled the cut-off lists will continue to be released," said S.K. Sharma, principal, Motilal Nehru College (Evening).

Students aspiring for science courses could approach Colleges like Hindu, Kirori Mal and Miranda House which still have vacant seats, the university official said.

Seats are vacant in the bachelors of technology courses of computer science and electronics, the official said.

The university introduced the four-year undergraduate programme this academic session. Under the new programme, students will be required to study 11 foundation courses in the first two years with the main subjects under disciplines I and II, and applied courses.
