35 percent voting in Delhi till 1 p.m.

Thirty-five percent voting was recorded till 1 p.m. Saturday in the Delhi assembly elections, the state Election Commission said.

The balloting picked up early, with nearly 20 percent votes being cast by 11 a.m., within the first three hours.

Polling for the 70-member assembly started 8 a.m. Saturday.
