4,727 dengue cases in Delhi

The number of people testing positive for the dengue virus in Delhi increased to 4,727 from 4,618 on Nov 4, a municipal health official said Friday.

The vector borne disease claimed six lives, but no fatality was reported in the past week.

An additional 57 cases have been reported from other areas of the National Capital Region.

Most of the dengue cases in Delhi were registered in the north corporation zone (1,985) followed by the south zone (1,405) and east zone (1,208).
