Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday protested against Pakistan and its media here outside Pakistani High Commission accusing it of spreading false propaganda on the Indian Army's surgical strikes across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

"AAP stands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi against terrorism," the party leader Dilip Kumar Pandey told reporters.

Shouting slogans like "Pakistan Murdabad" and "Pakistan Hai Hai", the party said that whole country salutes the ambition of Indian Army and supports the decision of the Prime Minister.

The party's officials staged the protest outside High Commission of Pakistan in Chanakyapuri here and demanded that the false propaganda of Pakistan over surgical strikes be exposed.

The party leaders sought a "befitting reply" to Pakistan for spreading false information that no such operation took place.

"Pakistan media is spreading false propaganda on surgical strikes and is telling the international media that no surgical strikes took place. We protest against Pakistan media," party leader Pandey said.

The party also condemned the BJP for doing politics over the army action.

Meanwhile Delhi Police detained eleven party leaders including Pandey and seven legislators.

"There was a gathering of around 125 party leaders. we have detained eleven leaders including seven legislators who were released later," a senior police official told IANS.
