Power and automation technology company ABB India, which follows a calendar year financial cycle, on Monday said it posted a rise of 35.22 percent in its net profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2016, at Rs.70.98 crore, against Rs.52.49 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
According to the unaudited quarterly results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), ABB India earned a total income of Rs.2,000.29 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs.1,814.57 crore earned in the same period last year.
The incurred total expenses rose from Rs.1,713.20 crore in the year ago quarter to Rs.1,887.08 crore now.
