RJ-turned-actor Abhimanyu Kak and actress Monica Murthy have been roped in to host upcoming TV show "Happy Hours".
The show will feature content based on social media and conversations filled with humour.
The show, which is touted to give audiences a break from the monotony of life by taking them on a laughter ride, will present spoofs on various social media trends.
"'Happy Hours' is my first show on TV as an anchor and it definitely excites me. It is a new genre for me and I am all ready to tickle the audience's funny bone," Monica, who is known for her mimicry on various social media platforms, said in a statement.
Talking about his association with "Happy Hours", Abhimanyu said: "I found the concept really amazing and 'Happy Hours' is the need of the hour. When I got the opportunity to anchor the show I was excited and nervous at the same time."
The show will be aired on &TV channel from August 29.
