The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday protested here against the killing of BJP-RSS workers in Kerala with hoardings denouncing "Communist violence" by the CPI-M-led Students Federation of India (SFI).
Huge hoardings were put up across the Delhi University North Campus here on Thursday by ABVP, referring to recent clashes between Communist Party of India-Marxist and Bharatiya Janata Party-RSS workers in Kerala.
ABVP workers had gathered to protest against what they dubbed "anti-national activities" and used the protest venue to demonstrate against the killing of BJP-RSS workers in Kerala.
"Weapons of communists and their victims. Three students Anu, Sujit and Kim killed by communist and SFI (Students Federation of India)," one poster read.
Another displayed 75 pictures of "Kerala Martyrs" who were victims of "communist violence" in the state.
Many hoardings showed pictures of the beheaded bodies of their party workers.
"Students on the campus are finding these posters scary but they depict the reality. Leftists in Kerala are responsible for killing and mutilating bodies (of BJP-RSS workers). Imagine the horror that these martyrs' families must have felt, after receiving their dead bodies," ABVP media convener Saket Bahuguna said during the protest.
The protests come as an RSS leader Kundan Chandrawat has offered Rs 1 crore to have Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan beheaded.
The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) announced protests on Friday across Kerala and demanded that a case be registered against Chandrawat on terrorism charges.
Over the past few months, Kerala has been witnessing violent political killings of RSS and CPI(M) workers, with both the organisations engaged in a bloody feud.
